The Isles Restaurant and Tiki Bar proudly announces that Chef Chris Lubben has come on board to be our new Executive Chef! Chef Lubben is a 1995 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Upon graduation, he was recruited by the Palm Restaurant, where he remained for two years. Lubben and his family relocated to North Carolina over ten years ago to be near family, and, since then, he has held positions at various upscale restaurants in the southeastern area of the state. More recently, he was owner and Executive Chef at Chris’ Cosmic Kitchen in Wilmington, NC, which he ran with his wife, Kristin, for nearly four years. In 2008, he was featured on the front cover of the StarNews‘s ‘Wilmington Magazine‘ as one of Wilmington’s Top Ten Chefs that year.

We are so happy to have Chef Chris Lubben on Ocean Isle Beach, NC! He’s busy preparing lunch and dinner, as well as executing excellent food for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. There have been nothing but rave reviews thus far about his food:
